Youth & Music

How we help empower youth

Through our youth character-building programs, we provide a positive, stimulating environment in which to learn and a wide range of educational opportunities for children of all ages. The Salvation Army offers high-quality after-school activities, summer camps, character development classes, leadership training, and more.

  • Cost: All programs are free to attend unless otherwise noted.
  • Transportation: Available upon request, but space and resources are limited.

Character Building Programs and School of Music Programs (Tuesday & Wednesday evenings)

Our free Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening programs are an incredible resource to families in our community who are looking for high-quality and accessible education for their children after school hours. Applications are available at our center on Belcher Rd.

Character Building Classes (ages 4-15)

  • Tuesdays 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Bible based life skill classes and STEM, Bible, Recreation, and Crafts with students divided into fun groups, such as "Sunbeams", by age.

School of Music (3rd Grade & Up)

  • Wednesday 5:00 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.

Christ-centered music instruction in brass, guitar, percussion, dance, piano, voice, music production, and theater. Instruments are loaned for free.
